A little bit more from Greta: I have taken inspiration for this series from the Australian bush where I spend a lot ofmy time walking and birdwatching. This series features Australian birds that inhabit Canberra during Autumn and Winter. These bright and beautiful birds bring flashes of excitement and colour during the gloomy, colder months. I have collected leaves from my walks around Canberra and mono-printed them taking inspiration from the colours of the bush. Then, I have drawn and painted the details of the birds and placed them overtop of the leafy scene.

I have made these artworks postcard size which will allow visitors to take home a “small” reminder of their time in Canberra.
