Winter news | August 2024

Save the dates

Our annual group exhibition will be opening to the public Friday 27 September at 11am. We are excited to introduce 8 artists to Canberra audiences. They come from Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, coastal QLD and rural NSW. All of them have been busy making new artworks and even I can't wait to see them in our small space. So mark your diaries 27 September to 14 October 2024.

Glass, ceramics and textiles landed!

We recently received smaller glass vessels and new pendants from Jennifer Kemarre Martiniello. Fran Romano has made ceramic brooches in a small series Shards. Jacqueline Lewis has provided another (and very popular) sake set but this time with shades of dark taupe. We also have two woodfire stoneware teapots. Liz Taverner has topped up her popular hand made bags. So pop in to say hello or start shopping by clicking on the images below.

Archibald and Alphonse
It was nice to have a mini mid year winter break in Sydney. I finally went to see the Archibald, Sulman and Wynne prizes at the Art Gallery of NSW. I've only ever seen this online or in the news so to go in person was a big treat! I highly recommend seeing this show as I lucked in with a double pass discount as I bought a ticket to see Alphonse Mucha.
