Canberra Region Tourism Awards | GOST wins a Silver Commendation!
We were awarded another commendation at the Canberra Region Tourism Awards. It was a lovely night as Adam and I dressed up for a fancy gala dinner at Parliament House in the gorgeous members hall. We wined, dined, chatted, grooved and clapped for all the finalists who worked very hard with their submission.
It’s not for the faint hearted. At 10,000 words it took four and a half months to write my submission. I am incredibly thankful Adam patiently read/edited several drafts alongside reviewer extraordinaire Karina Groth to mentor me as part of the awards accelerator program. A big thanks too, to Marg Wade (of Canberra Secrets fame and a Commended too 🤩) who encouraged me to apply. I would also like to acknowledge VisitCanberra who have supported me from Day one. There are so many people to thank but that would mean a ‘big’ list! So this one is for all of you.
In tourism and the arts, we all contribute to making Canberra a return destination with experiences and products that are just as outstanding as any other city in Australia and beyond ⭐️.

11 Jan 2023 inclusive. We reopen 11am, 12 Jan.
Order online & Pickup | From 19 to 22 Dec, you can still order online & pickup your gifts.

Post | If you order online after 24 Dec, your artworks will be posted from 12 Jan 2023 onwards. For those locals, you can pick up when we reopen back to our Thursdays to Sundays, 11am to 4pm.
For all gifts being posted regular via Australia Post their cut off date is 12 December. GOST recommends you post well before to avoid disappointment.

Thanks to everyone who visited GOST this year in person and online. We simply cannot operate without our visitors and loyal buyers. I wish to thank all the artists who have continued to make for our gallery, in particular the last 2 years which has been very difficult.
Through innovation and resilience GOST operated like the Ever Ready Bunny! We are looking forward to 2023 and changes ahead as I plan for the future of GOST and supporting artists in new ways.
In the New Year, we will announce our EASS recipients (these are Art Graduates from the ANU School of Art + Design) and our first show of the year. So, watch this space! Anne xx
