Waterhouse Natural Science Art Prize 2021
Congratulations to two of our artists in GOST who have been selected as finalists for the prestigious Waterhouse Natural Science Art Prize. Recently, I went to the touring exhibition at the National Archives in Parkes, Canberra with my friend artist Jennie. I was thrilled to see Lan Nguyen-hoan's work had been chosen for the show alongside Julie Pennington's work which is featured along with 68 finalists in the exhibition catalogue. We congratulate all the finalists. Some works are still available to purchase and add to your art collection today. Otherwise, we do have the more affordable works @ GOST available to purchase in person or through our online shop.

Next GOST Business Basics Workshop - Writing Artist Statements and Bios
Writing about yourself! It can be the hardest thing to do. But with practice you will understand how to write short or long statements and refine your biographies. This workshop will make your words flow!
After the 2-hour workshop you will know the difference between your artist statement and your artist’s biography. Each one has a purpose. An improved statement or biography will distinguish you from other artists as someone who is clear and concise about their work and who you are. This is what galleries, funding bodies and art residencies love to see and is considered (alongside your CV) as the most important documents you need to survive and thrive!
